Free Sakineh: another follow up

For those  following the story of Sakineh Mohammedie Ashtiani – here is an article about the world wide movement to help Sakineh by not only saving her life by by getting her released from prison.

For those not familiar with the story, Sakineh Mohammedie Ashtiani was convicted of adultery in Iran in 2006 — yes, adultery is a crime there – and sentenced to 99 lashes. But then she was given an additional sentence to be executed – by stoning. A movement was launched by her lawyers, human rights activists and perhaps most importantly, her two children, to stop this from happening. So far, she has been granted a reprieve – but apparently, danger remains.

Stay tuned.
